A designer focused on visual design and web interaction, based in New York
Akira Lee is a designer, photographer, and genderqueer. They were born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and currently live in New York. Their works range from graphic design, interactive installations to user experience design; their research from the physical forms of media to material exploration. They believe that the most profound technologies already exist and that analog technology will lead us to the next future.
They received their B.A in Advertising (2016), National Chengchi University, and B.S. in Digital Content and Technology (2016), National Chengchi University. They have worked as a freelancer with Red Peak Inc., Dentsu Taiwan Inc.
After undergrad, they studied at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, focusing on Information Design and Human-computer and Interaction. They received their MFA degree in Design and Technology (2020), at Parsons School of Design.
They are also interested in film photography and new media art. They have received the Silver Award from National Student Photography Competition in Taiwan in 2016.
