Overview
“The Water Dancer” is a fiction novel written by the National Book Award-winning author, Ta-Nehisi Coates and published by One World. The landing page represented the book with an interactive narrative and is designed for the book’s upcoming launch in September. This novel is a story of slavery, vividly portrayed memory and mysterious power related to Virginia social movements. I created the site in a mysterious, bold and beautiful way in order to represent the spirit and soul of the story.
Client: One World Publisher,
a NYC-based imprint of Penguin Random House, the world’s largest trade book publisher
The project was completed during the three-month internship in Wix Design Playground.
